Good question! Yes, we are open “by appointment only”.

Stars’ doors have been closed since the start of the Covid pandemic, but as of mid-May we are taking daily steps to prep for our reopening (and for our highly anticipated anniversary sale!). The good news is you can still shop NOW by scheduling a “shopping appointment” any time during the week. All we ask is that you wear a mask while inside the store and to avoid coming into the store if you’ve had contact with someone who is ill or if you feel ill. During this time we have been busy revamping, painting, moving, repairing, merchandising, and cleaning throughout our entire store. While it has been good to give the store a good once-over, we are excited for a return to “normalcy”, whatever that may look like. As of now, we require all shoppers and employees to wear masks while inside the store and practice social distancing. We offer hand sanitizer at the front counter, and we are offering free pens to take home at the front desk (if you need to sign a credit card receipt). We will always comply with any other safety measures deemed necessary by the City of Hermosa Beach.

We want to extend a big Thank You to our customers who have supported us during this closure and to our dealers who have stayed committed to keeping merchandise in our store. Last week after a customer made a shopping appointment we received a message from her: “Thank you for having me today! It was such a treat for me! I brought home some good treasures. It was wonderful and definitely safe! Coming back with my daughter soon”. We can’t wait to see all of our regular customers soon.
